I am definitely not a fashionista, and although I own my fair share of purses and bags, I almost always only use one simple black Coach purse. Despite the fact that I’m not particularly picky about what is slung over my shoulder, I must admit that I’m not a big fan of the typical camera bag. My old camera bag–a black nylon box with straps, basically–was a gift from an ex-boyfriend (before the “ex” was added to his title). It’s not that I’m not appreciative of the gift; it served its purpose for 3 good years. However, as my camera equipment collection has expanded and I’ve found myself toting my dSLRs and lenses around more often, I’ve found that the old camera bag just isn’t cutting it anymore. After a few months of research, I finally gave in and purchased a new bag from Epiphan!e Bags.
I ended up purchasing the Clover in pink and it is a beautiful bag! At first I was hesitant about purchasing it because, well, it’s $184.99 (before shipping/tax) and I’m currently unemployed. But once the giant box arrived at my doorstep, I ripped it open, and instantly fell in love. First of all, it doesn’t look like an ordinary camera bag. It took me awhile to find a camera bag that fits my personal style, so long that I was almost ready to give up, but this bag definitely fits me. Second of all, it’s huge. According to the website it’s 18 x 6.25 x 13 inches (L x W x H). And because of that, it holds everything. I currently have one camera body with a 17-50mm lens attached, one camera body without a lens, a 70-300mm lens, a 17-200mm lens, a 50mm fixed lens, and a flash unit stored in my bag… with room to spare for my MacBook and other miscellaneous items! The outside is bright pink synthetic leather and the inside is a vibrant lime green with tons of padding and removable velcro dividers to help organize your equipment. This is seriously the best purchase I’ve made in awhile. Not only is the bag gorgeous and high quality, shipping was super fast too. I can’t wait to take this bag on my SF trip for Chris & Brooke’s wedding in a few weeks! I think Epiphan!e Bags just found a repeat customer. (:
